01 civic swap info

I was wanting to swap another engine into my 01 civic EX. K20A are a direct bolt but are $7000 for the engine alone. I hear the H22A is a semi-bolt in but will cost quite a bit to corret shocks, suspension to compensate for the extra weight. If anyone knows which is better or has any other suggestions it would help out alot. Thanks for your time.

For a Civic a JDM B18C1 is the best and easiest swap.

Hey its always good to READ THE WHOLE THREAD before replying...

There is actually a mount kit out for B series motors in the 01 Civic. I saw it in a magazine. That might be the cheapest route for you. The h22 is a hard swap in ANY car but a prelude and the accord. There is always a lot of Modifying to get it to fit...

Check out http://www.7thgencivic.com/ they might have some more answers for you
