speed sensor bypass

my 98 cavalier is modified car hits about 115 then cuts out , this is rather annoying "found this out running with a 05 si civic" on motor had him until the cut out engaged . i dont want to short things or cut wires just a simple fix to increase the value on the speed sensor and keep a working speedometer.

That cut out is built into the programming of the PCM......
