McLaren MP4 fax machine

Up next is Fujimi's McLaren MP4-12C GT3 kit, or as Jeremy Clarkson calls it , the fax machine, not trying to compete with Dieteufel builds , just going to OOB, I am using Gulf Orange from Scale Finishes.

Up first a pic of the body out of the box



and the body with the side bits on



and the rear end, I am not looking forward to having to paint the middle part black, but I think I am going to do it first, then body color



And the front , as you can see, it has molded in vent screen's, I am going cut them out and replace with mesh screen, but the only problem is the tow hook attaches to the left screen, so I have to figure out something for that .

Got the back end painted black first

and brakes are done


How about some color

Chassis completed

And the wheels in Tamiya gunmetal

Did some carbon fiber work on the front of the body

and you can see, I have a little bit more work on the rear to get a clean line

Headlights installed, just need to add the lens, mesh srceen in place, and the rear wing is on, I did the wing in carbon fiber, still have some learning to do with it on body parts
