Lucas products

Hi,

I'm thinking about to use Lucas multi vehicle ATF and Lucas oil for my 3.8 v6 98 lumina.

Did anybody else use products from them?

Re: Lucas products

It really doesn't make any difference what you use as long as you follow the owners manual regarding Mil spec or the Engineering Spec quoted their in. The only Engine oil that I would be concerned about would be Wal-Mart tech oil. It leaves a residue on my Lumina’s oil filler cap. I’m assuming its paraffin based. I think that type of oil is best used in warm climates. Personally I change and mix the cheapest oil I can find that isn’t the tech oil. I’ve been doing that for the past 40 years on all of my cars that I usually keep for at least 160K miles.
