Volkswagen Golf Rallye Fujimi-Scale Production 1/24

Hello to everybody!
Having ended California Shooting brake, I decided to make a simpler model.
I saw that another member had already very well built it!
Here is my version which will be completely stock
The chosen paint is the pearl green LC6V
Wheel rims are daytona in 15 inches so settled on the Corrado at the same time.

First step, body paint :

Re: Volkswagen Golf Rallye Fujimi-Scale Production 1/24

Some news of this Golf!
I made new tips of exhaust gas
I began to recreate the doors panels.
I also began front seats.
Sorry, I did not make the Synchro system.
That had to be a simple out of box...

Re: Volkswagen Golf Rallye Fujimi-Scale Production 1/24

Nice addition with door cards. Are the seats just painted? Came out sweet.
I think the bbs wheels look better in the last pic. Any full pics with bbs wheels on?

Re: Volkswagen Golf Rallye Fujimi-Scale Production 1/24

The seats are painted with Tam XF63 German grey and XF7 Flat red
The black is from Winsor&Newton (oil)
I again have to make a light drybrush on the black
Masking with Aizu tape
BBS RG 18" from Fujimi, Tires 215/35/18 from Revell.

Beautiful build. If you made reproductions of your door-cards, I'd buy them. What did you treat your BBS RGs with? They look so realistic. I have a set on my Revell MKII and would love to make them look as nice.
