'05-no interior lights, not wanting to start
I've got an '05 burb that for a couple weeks now the interior lights will not come on when you open any doors. Just tonight I went to start it and it took a couple tries and finally did, but I noticed that the clock had been reset almost like the battery had been drained.
I drove it to my destination and just let it run for about 30 min thinking it needed to charge (nothing had drained it that was obvious to me). I had to go back out and it did the same thing, started hesitantly and the clock had been reset. Where to start? We are novices and don't have lots of time or money but this is our main family vehicle! Thanks in advance. |

Re: '05-no interior lights, not wanting to start
what is the problem ? no crank power ? starter weak cranking ? If so then remove battery connections and clean ...have battery load tested at a battery sales / parts store..
engine cranks good and no start ? then check the fuel pressures with a pressure gage ..should be over 53 psi engine off key on .... If this is not helping then bring to a repair shop for further testing .. you have volt ohm meter ? tools ? then get a repair manual and post back for more testing / troubleshooting instructions. |
