stupid question

if i ditch my a/c unit will that have any effect at all on my ability to use my heater? I am currently under the impression that the ac runs on a different system then the heater vents. I'd like to lesson the accesory drag, but not at the expence of lossing the ability to heat my car during cold nights. I never use the a/c anyways.

Just yank the compressor out of there and get you a shorter belt. It will not effect your heating system.

Some Mustangs came from the factory without AC. You'll be all set.

yea patna, the hood went south. especially your side of the street.

for those of you who don't know, the "salad bowl" mod goes like this:

the mgb is perfect for guys under the hight of 5'7''. Melt is about 6'6''. It wouldn't have surprised me if he could reach out the windows and push his car with his arms. The poor guy had to learn how to drive with his head sideways and his knees above the steering wheel. Melt wanted to get a new car - but his dad, who is a brillant man, said he would cut a hole in the roof and fit a salad bowl in it for his head to go, to save money and all. I mean, the mg was clean, i didn't want to see it go either. anyways, this thought projects such a comical image in my mind, when ever i am sad, the salad bowl image makes me happy.

I keep brining it up to tease.
