Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Hello again AF!
This is my latest project. The very curvy F12 from Fujimi. In my opinion the kit is well detailed over all. The body fits together well, though I had an small fit problem with the front bumper, and the windows are nice and tight. The interior lacks detail/depth, which for a car that has option of open doors seems silly . So fujimi dropped the ball there
The hood is propped up by a cool small rod in the engine bay. I decided to make hinges for the first time to have "working" doors. To fit the wheels inside the wells and lower the stance, I had to modify the suspension heavily. The seats were replaced with a set off the revell 458. I used Hobby Designs p/e, studio27 cf decals, and Scalefinishes' Giallo Triplo Strato finishes the kit.
Well here we go...

Inside pics. I'm a noob photographer and can't capture the color
This is the best one for it...

Need to make some room or get a bigger shelf

Thanks for looking

Re: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Nice job - lots of expertly applied CF! The tri-layer yellow looks good - I have some in the mail right now. I think Bob Downie or another person on the board has a tip or two for getting the bumper to fit right.

Hey Carlos!
I was wondering when you were going to post some pics of this beauty! Pictures don't really capture the pearl yellow, this color really pops in person. Superb job as usual. Hope you had a good time at the NNL.

Re: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Awesome Carlos! I'm glad you finally posted pictures of this wonderful build. Pictures simply do not do it justice as seeing it in person is just stunning. As soon as you unpacked this beast at the NNL I was immediately drawn to it and was probably the first person to hover over you hoping you'd move over quickly so I could take a closer look LOL. It was great meeting you and chatting with you at the show. Cant wait to see what you build next. Stay in touch. ~Mike

Re: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

The yellow paint looks really good, and seems to be very similar to Zero's Giallo Orion.
It's a real shame the front bumper doesn't fit quite right. I like your interior very much, especailly the floor mat with the logo adds a lot of realism.
You should definitely get a bigger shelf!

Maybe I you two can speak to my wife about the shelf
The bumper issues sucks, though I might revisit it. I'm glad you agree on the wheel choice. Finding wheels in this size is not easy. La Ferrari? I have to make room for my Aventador first

'Til next time
