Fuel Choking Device
In '99 For Ranger 4.0L, what do you call the device that allows rich mixture during cold starts? I thought it was the Idle Control Valve.

Re: Fuel Choking Device
I'll answer my own question. There is no "choking" device in fuel injected engines. Instead the lean mixture requirement during cold starts is controlled by the PCM by having the fuel injectors supply added fuel to meet the rich mixture requirement during cold starts.
