Intake manifold

I'm trying to remove my intake manifold on my on my 02 LTC, there is a bracket over the last fuel injector with a screw on the top which i removed, there is another between the fire wall and the back of that bracket, does anyone know a practical way to remove that bracket?

Re: Intake manifold

Are you talking about the bracket that is on the driver's side rear area of the engine block? There are several online videos from You Tube that show how to remove it, they say it is a pain. On the main bolt that holds the bracket on there is an outer nut, and then two more nuts on a bolt shaft.

I have not done this repair yet but know that the bracket is one of the harder things to pull.
