Heater problems

Got 1996 Silverado 6cyl pickup...Only 75,000 miles... My heater is not putting out the hot air as is expected.. It just started this very recently.. The engine heats as should acording to the dash gage.. The blower works fine. Just the air coming out of it now is just a mild luke warm... Hope someone can help......Pete

heater cores do need flushing at every coolant change. remove hoses of the heater core at the engine then using a water hose flush out. after that if you have a air compressor blow out all until dry.

see how much crap comes out into the bucket. for some reason the debris gets caught here.
