Good Scan Tool for ABS Monitoring

I've been using an Auto Xray 5000 for my scanning needs for the past few years, and it's been great for monitoring my cars (03 Impala, 87 Camaro) except that it only reads the ECM. I need something that can read, and more importantly display live data from the ABS module. Does anyone have or know of a scan tool that does this for cheap? Hopefully under 100 bucks? I've done a lot of searching but none of them are quite clear on whether or not they'll display live wheel speed sensor numbers and other such data.

Re: Good Scan Tool for ABS Monitoring

There are ABS scanners, that are just code readers....they do not provide live data...... to get that, and also to have bi-directional capability where you can command things on/off, you are talking big bucks....

there are ABS code readers out there, that have possible fixes built in.....if you just want to get something cheap to read ABS codes, I would get a combo unit, that reads ABS and PCM codes(can also read live PCM data)....cost is around $200......

Re: Good Scan Tool for ABS Monitoring

Oh no I just want to see the live data from the ABS module. One of the guys at the local garage showed me his that he says he got at harbor freight for 70 bucks and does what I'm looking for. I couldn't find it myself, but there have to be others out there. At almost 260,000 miles I need to keep a close eye on the old girl.
