Any good shops in the Houston area

I'm going to be in Houston in a couple weeks. Any shops worth checking out? I build mainly cars, but I'm into all aspects of scale modeling.

Re: Any good shops in the Houston area

You may have noticed already from the lack of reply, but there isn't any hobby store worth visiting since Hobby Island closed years ago. Instead, you can be sympathetic to the modelers in Houston for the lack of descent hobby stores for the size of the city. It might be because the newer domestic kits are available at Hobby Lobby and Michaels at 40% off, and imports are cheaper online, or directly from the origin country.
As far as the usual supplies and raw materials are concerned, I used to shop at M&M, and Papa Ben's Train Place, and occasionally at G&G.

G&G is in Rice Village, which might be worth a visit for eating, shopping, and watching college kids blasting off their Lamborghini.
