2001 bonniville problems

I have a 2001 bonniville that the motor was just rebuilt but we can't get it to hold oil pressure ..replaced oil pump and sending unit ..any ideas on what else it could be

What do you mean " hold" oil pressure, to low, needs priming, more info here is needed.

It holds about 40 until it warms up then drops to 0

Exactly, what do you mean by rebuild? Crank turned, bearings replaced? Cam turned, bearings replaced?
