Question Tranny #

My 2000 S-10 blazers torque confertor went out and I am going to check what it will cost to rebuild. If it is cheaper to get a used tranny I will try to do that. But I dont know what the model number is for that tranny? Can anyone help on that number?

Re: Tranny #

4L60E. Try and get the same year as there are differences in the valve body. If the tag on the top of the transmission is the same then you should be good. Though if it's just the torque converter why not just replace that?
