"Mean green machine" Lambo LP400 1/12

Just finished this"hotrod" lambo, this is the doyusha LP500S version but I let the wide wheel-arches and the spoiler rest in the box.
I like this clean look better with the wide low profile tires and lowered body.

LP400 with S wheels, lowered, removed airfilters and made trumpets, l added lights with leds and fiberoptics.

Right kind of magazine for a.......

Thanks for looking!

Re: "Mean green machine" Lambo LP400 1/12

Hi, great job on this model. Love the choice of colour and the lights.

I also have this LP500s kit tucked away in my stash. Seriously thinking of leaving the spolers off now. Did the kit go together well?

Excellent!! Looks great in green with gold wheels. Really nailed the stance & the lights are just fantastic!

Like to see the overall look. How about some daylight pictures? We get the lights...

Re: "Mean green machine" Lambo LP400 1/12

Thanks for the comments, guys!
@zooks15, The kit is very good overall but it has some issues like the brakes(half the calippers are missing...)
@MerlinPro, Here are some more pics.

And a comparison with the 288 GTO.

VERY NICE-thank you. Great idea to delete the flairs and lower it.
Mine is a very old WIP but I hated the 'phone-dial' wheels. I ground the rings down flush and will 'gold' them.

Fantastic result, especially with the lights!
You might need some more shelves in your living room!

Thanks, guys!

That 1/12 288GTO is Tamiya collectors edition, semi assembled. So it is not really a kit. It looks superb though!
@Kjenjak, In this scale you run out of shelves FAST.... !
