kk I got all the stuff for my car ... set it all up (Integra '00) but I can't detatch the radio, is the standard one but since it is "Anti-theft" I believe it has some screws I can not reach from the back ... can any one help me out by telling me how to detach this radio out of the console?????

You don't need to take apart the dash at all...Just open the passenger side door, stick your head under the passenger side dash, and look behind the console for the screws (you'll need a flashlight). I installed my new system by myself and if I remember correctly, there are 4 screws located at the very back bottom of the stereo and are attached to a small steel crossmember. You should be able to see them and remove them with minimal problems. They are a b*@#$ to take out and even worse to put back in so pray that u never have to INSTALL it back like I had to once Hope you can work that out.

Cool Radio Security Code doesn't work?

arial
If you enter your radio security code and find that your radio still doesn't work:
1) The owner's manual say to "keep entering the code". This didn't work for me. The manual also says... after 10 attempts you "must leave the radio on for 1 hour", then try again. This in NOT entirely true!
2) Just unplug the battery again for about 10 min. Then re-connect. If your radio security code still doesn't work, TRY PRESSING THE CD EJECT BUTTON and CASSETTE EJECT button. This seems to have a positive effect on helping to clear the settings. Then enter your code again.
3) This routine worked for me. Maybe it will work for you.
