Pontiac Vibe clacking

Hi.
My 2005 Pontiac Vibe just started making a fast, loud clacking sound that seems to be coming from inside the dash on the passanger side. Any ideas about what this could be?

Re: Pontiac Vibe clacking

perhaps a stripped mode door, temp door, or recirc door actuator- does it quit after a bit- how are your temp controls?

Re: Pontiac Vibe clacking

My 03 Vibe GT has the same problem, it is the flapper door behind the glove box. turn the recirculation button on (under the a/c button) it goes away. was just looking up to see what the issue is and how to fix.
