The LaFerrari is Announced, model soon?

Now lets hope we get a 1/24 scale model of it soon. I did hear that RoG is considering doing this one but is not currently thinking of doing a F12 Berlinetta.

Given that Fujimi has done done the F12, I'm wondering if they'll do this one as well. I'm giving up on Tamiya ever doing anything like this.

I love it! I would bet that all of manufacturers will make one including the big T.They cant seem to resist gull wing doors except when they are on a McLaren.

Looks a lot better than the prototypes and renderings I saw in the past year.

The name is a bit lame, but the car looks awesome. There is a video on the Ferrari site.

Re: The LaFerrari is Announced, model soon?

she got the worst and most ugly name in ferrari history.I wonder who was the genius thinking of it.the car is a dream and has as usual incredible numbers.also incredible with reds how easy previous models become old at once....

Re: The LaFerrari is Announced, model soon?

Shes a pretty special beast! Increible Car
Tamiya will definetly do this one, Propably First & will be the best, expect open doors & full engine with HY-KERS, Revells Effort will be better than their previous Enzo but suffer from SUV Tires & oversized wing mirrors... Fujimi will no doubtly do a Curbside version.
Hope Tamiya have learnt something from the success of their 1:12 Enzo & Carrera GT & do a 1:12.
Fingers Crossed Fujimi will do McLaren P1, now thats SEX on Wheels!!!!

Why? They did like 10 versions of the Enzo. This is exactly the kind of thing that Tamiya does, in three scales, in kit and prefinished and all options in between, in red plastic, in yellow plastic, in clear plastic, in a box with box art, in an all black box, in an invisible box that Wonder Woman delivers to your house, they will make an iPhone app to help you build it, they will make three different PE sets that don't include what you really want in a PE set, and special wheels and then they will charge a lot for all of it.

At least the car is pretty this time.

Re: The LaFerrari is Announced, model soon?

At the moment I don't like it. I think it lacks the super ferrari atmosphere partly because the proportion is too close to a 458. And it does have the single stupidest name in the world... God help the Italians...

Re: The LaFerrari is Announced, model soon?

Tamiya will probably disappoint us by announcing 1/10 R/C first, but I think 1/24 plastic will follow. It's a perfect halo product for Christmas, and 9 months is enough for budget approval to production for a company like Tamiya which has its own in-house tooling shop and manufacturing factory.
The question is, whether we will see P1 and Venero, or not. Imagine a showdown between Aoshima Venero, Fujimi P1 and Tamiya LaFerrari. Given the decline of Tamiya, and a solid performance by Aoshima and Fujimi with their Aventador and F12 kits, it will be an interesting competition.
