Engine swap- 3.8L 98 to 01.

I want to do an engine swap 98 regal to 01 regal. Both are series 2 3.8L. Should the engine and tranny swap without a huge problem? Any wiring/sensor issues? Thanks.

I'm personally not aware of any differences in the drivetrain between those model years, so it should be a straightforward swap.

I would confirm interchangeability with a salvage yard, pcm/harnesses may be different.
