Question Bang for the buck

As far as exotic looking cars go (since the Ariel Atom isn't street legal in Canada) is there a better bang for the buck than the Lotus Elise for 50K?

Re: Bang for the buck

As the article says, the Porsche Boxster is a better car. It's not really more "exotic" looking, but it is also cheaper and more practical. Plus it's a comfortable... don't know if that's a good or a bad thing for you. Also it's probably going to be the more consistent and reliable car down the line. None of this is meant to be a knock on the Elise, it is still one of my favorite cars.

Are exotic looks the only quality you are looking for? How frequently are you going to be driving this car?

Re: Bang for the buck

I'm not into Porsches at all.

Yeah I'm basically wanting to get a car for the way it looks. I'll only be driving it in the summer. I haven't found a car that looks as exotic/fun as the Lotus for a similar price.
