Need solutions to Fujimi odd tire sizes

I'm working on a 1/24 scale Fujimi Porsche 911 GT3R, Hatsune Miku car. The Fujimi model has very clean parts with not many imperfections... is a great kit. Except the tires... even though the rear tires are supposed to be different size (larger) than the fronts, in reality all 4 tires are different sizes... making my model to limp (not all 4 tires touching the table). I take the tires off and the chassis is trued, not bent. How can I fix this tire issue? Any company I can get better tires than can fit this specific kit? How I measure the tires to order from another manufacturer or hobby shop? How that is done? Need help! This is my first Fujimi car built!!!! Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions!

tyres adn wheels are always a BIG problem into static kits. Seems the only company around making good wheels is Tamiya.
The problem is the eye of the observer is immediately taken by theme. all we know the drastic difference between a model with nice wheels and a model, also maybe welldone with nasty ugly ones.

I am sorry my friend, the only tip I can give u is to achieve as many spare wheels as u can.
Many company makes wheels.Some nices spares are however more expensive than an entire kit.
Try also give a look at the many die cast models around. many company (ex. welly) makes incredibly detailed wheels for little more than 10 dollars.
And u have the entire kit as donor.
Also try look at the many bargain models u can find around. I buy several of theme at 10 euros just to collect wheels and tyres.

That's an idea, to get tires from a diecast. Anyway, looking for answers, I came across 1/24 scale slot car tires... cheaper than getting a diecast, don't you think? I order some, will post my opinion on the quality of these slot car tires as soon as I get them. Keep the ideas coming please!!!

I just checked my Fujimi Kit and it seems to have the same problem. However, help is just around the corner.

Mike: How did you do the driver side netting? From scratch? Or a product? From Where? If scratch built, can you share how you did it? I'm doing the new Brumos Porsche and instead of having an exterior type of netting like yours, it has one in the form of a triangle between the driver and the transmission shifter. But the scratch built should be about the same, just a triangle instead of a rectangle. You can post in here or PM me if you wish. Thanks!

Is not that easy... they are different in width, diameter, side wall and tire skin thickness. Even the hollow portion of the tire inside is very irregular. Is so bad that is obvious to the naked eye... don't need a caliper to tell you how bad they are. They are a big oops!

But is a good suggestion for tires that are close in shape.

the window net is made with Leukosilk plaster tape

I cut thin strips from the Leukosilk tape and build up the net.

It's self-adhesive and can be easily painted any color you desire.

I'm sorry to hear that. Obviously you got a set of wrong tires. I have four GT3R kits (and one Z4 kit with the same tires), and none of them are like that. One rear tire was 0.2mm too large because of an excess flash on the inside, but that was fixable.

Many modelers finish race cars models on the jack stands with wheels & tires off. You might want to consider that option, too.
