why cruel world! Why! whhhhhyyyyy!

I posted this about 3 days ago. Not 1 response. Do I'm desperate for any comments.

That's what I think when I remember how stumped I am. Maybe you guys know. All disk brake with abs. New pads. Completely clean and greased caliper pins. Booster holds vacuum. Did the pump test. Heres the issue. Intermittent hard brake pedal BUT with plenty if not 100% brake assist. While the hard brake pedal feel is occurring, the brakes drag sligthly .Goes away on its own while driving. Comes and goes. MC is 1 year old. What could cause this? A temporary fix is shutting the car off and pump the brake pedal till its rock hard. Then pedal is 100% normal.

What make and model is the vehicle ? Have you checked the check valve on the vacuum hose connection to the brake booster ?

Hey! Its a 08 saturn vue xe 4cyl 2wd. All disk brakes. Changed master 1 year ago. Done brakes all around since it was needed. I don't know how to treat the booster check valve. Ive disconnect it to check for tears or cracks. That seems to have helped you. But the issue is still there. I read to check the valve was to blow on it and the suck on it. You should be allowed to blow but not suck. That's at the opposite end of the valve hose.true?

Remove the check valve from the booster. Remove the hose from the opposite end fitting. The end that was in the booster will let you blow into but not suck. The small end that had the hose on it will allow you to suck on it but not blow through it. Also check the rubber grommet in the booster that the check valve mounts in for tears and sealing. Also check the hose between the intake vacuum source and the check valve for cracking and bad clamps.
Is the rod in the booster the correct length and is it squarely in the master's rear piston socket?

Exactly what I did this morning. It checks good. Grommet was good. Hose was great. It has the factory clamps but they are strong. I ducked and blew. Checked out good. I even took off the valve completely from the holes and fsucked on it and let my lower lip be a seal and it kept a vacuum very well for 1 minutes now I have a bruised lip.

Make sure there are no leaks in the lines. They hide in the hardest to find spots.

Lol. I got rid of the soon of a gun. Turned out to be the abs module or pump. Both very costly. Traded it in for a 2011 Ford edge. With low milage and almost 2x the power. Lol. So happy to get rid of a dead brand. Thxs all.

Good choice. Fords are great cars that hold up well. They have always been thirsty though.
