remote range
i have a 2008 equinox, 3.4l. i installed a pionner radio last month, now my remote will not work from far, i talked to a tech at a gm dealership and they said the radio is interferaring with the it, is it possable to move the remote antana to a different spot or what else can i do. thanks

Hold the remote under your chin(touching it), and press the button on your remote.....be surprised how much the strength/range of the transmitter increases, using your body as a giant antenna....

It could be just a coincidence that the battery in the remote is starting to get low.

The battery is readily available in local Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreen's, etc.
Separate the two halves..make a note of the position/side of the battery before removing......be very careful of the electrical contacts, they are fragile.....
