Re: remote range

Hold the remote under your chin(touching it), and press the button on your remote.....be surprised how much the strength/range of the transmitter increases, using your body as a giant antenna....

Re: remote range

It could be just a coincidence that the battery in the remote is starting to get low.

I think your correct. Chin thing did nothing. I wonder if they use an available battery inside the key fobs?

Re: remote range

The battery is readily available in local Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreen's, etc.

Separate the two halves..make a note of the position/side of the battery before removing......be very careful of the electrical contacts, they are fragile.....

+1 ^^

The battery you will need depends on the remote, but the vast majority of GM remotes use either a 2032 or 2016 3V lithium ion watch battery.
