Any-one try to mod a Ford Focus Map sensor to work in Intrigue
Any-one try to mod a Ford Focus Map sensor to work in Intrigue
I was at the local bone yard looking for a MAP sensor for a 99 Intrigue non to be found. But there were tons of Ford Focus with Map sensors physically they looked and installed in the same way. The difference been the Focus Map has a 5-pin connector vs a 3-pin as on the Intrigue.

There are many other GM vehicles & applications which use the exact same MAP sensor; most notably 1996+ 3800 V6 Series II & III (including supercharged Series II), 1996+ 4.3L V6, 1996-2008 Vortec V8s, and 1995+ Northstar 4.6L V8. I would have a very hard time believing that you couldn't find at least five at a junk yard after knowing which applications use the same sensor.
