i have always wondered if you could create a mount for suicide doors and mount your car seat on it, so wen u opened your door you can just sit down and pull yourself in? if so would it b as safe as bolted to the floor of the car? or about the same?

I'm sure it could be done , heck , anything is possible if you set your mind to it . But this is one of those things I don't think would be a good idea ! Doors are easily detached from the vehicle in many crashes and I think being belted into the car instead of attached to the door would be much more desirable if you want to survive the crash ! Might be wrong - Just my $0.02 !

Keep in mind that when you modify a car, it loses it`s resell value. Only certain parties my be interested in buying a modified car.
