Ferrari 365 GTS/4

Now that the 250 GT is finished i started another project,
I figured why not build another Ferrari. So i Got another one from the pile.
This time its a Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Or as some of you may know it as Ferrari Daytona spider.
I have been working on this one for the last 2 weeks, But the progress was not as fast as i had hoped. That was untill today.
Lets start off with box contents

I started on the body by sanding the mold lines off and filling some craters in the body

In the mean time i started with cutting all the parts out of the spreu's, The first parts i started glueing together were the engine parts

When that was done i could start cleaning up all the parts i had already cut out of the preu's, When that was done i started putting some color on them, And that is were i am today

Updates shall follow!

Re: Ferrari 365 GTS/4

I agree with Andy, the engine looks good. Nice start. I built the revell version many moons ago which also had nice engine detail, which lends itself to doing some washing to give it a driven look. It is an older car after all

Re: Ferrari 365 GTS/4

Well it has been long enough, time for an update!!
I detailed the standard seats a litle more

And started making my own hood cover

This weekend I did some airbrusching and started on the interior

Then i did some floking

Did some BMF and stuck some parts together

Detailed the dash

And put some more parts on the chassis

I also put the wheels on and did some test fitting with the body

And finaly this is the finished hood cover I build from scratch

Slaped some paint and BMF on.

Re: Ferrari 365 GTS/4

Coming along very nice. The flocking came out great. Do you use a sifter when applying flocking? Also white glue? Looking forward to it being finished.
