Only in America....We live in a great country, and there are some things that are only genuine American. Here are a few examples:

Only in America can a person named Chad be mistaken for an election ballot.

Only in America do drugstores make the sick and ill walk all the way to the back of the store to receive their prescriptions.

Only in America do people order a double hamburger, large fries, and a diet soda.

Only in America can a pizza arrive at your house faster than an ambulance.

Only in America there is handicap parking at the skating rinks. -

Only in America is where you will find Braille at the drive-through bank teller.

Only in America do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call-waiting so that we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the beginning.

Only in America can you order a pizza online.

Only in America do telemarketers call you and then put you on hold. -

Only in America do schools teach you the same thing every year.

Only in America do people build houses in the middle of nowhere and then cry because they are lonely.

Only in America do people buy a 150-acre plot for one person.


Only in America do banks have pens with a chain on them.

Only in America do doctors call what they do "practice."

Only in America did they invent outhouses but yet people still pee on trees.

Only in America.. can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.

Only in America.. are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.

Only in America.. do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in America.. do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Only in America.. do banks leave safe doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Only in America.. do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

Only in America.. do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

Only in America.. do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Only in America.. do we use the word "politics" to describe the process so well: "Poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures."

Only in America.. do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
