Mobile 1 SC 2006
Tamiya Mobile 1 SC 2006
No Big problems but I am not a fan of the chrome decals. I would have preferred silver since the foil had stripes in it and it gives it a lot of texture. Last edited by D_Durst; 12-30-2012 at 07:00 PM. |

Re: Mobile 1 SC 2006
Nice looking car.
But the one thing I don't understand is that you use all thos bolts, but that you use the decals for the hoodpins and not photo etched ones

Nice work. White is hard to pull off clean. I must agree with the bolt/hood pin comment though...

Re: Mobile 1 SC 2006
I didn't have a photo etched set for the car. I made the brake discs and fuel filler from brushed foil. I had thousands of rivet heads and sheets of mesh so I used what I had. I did place the hood pin decals on top of the clear coat so I could remove them if I get or find some hood pins.

Re: Mobile 1 SC 2006
Very nice and clean build!
Did you notice any change after applying clear over those chrome decals?
