Smile Hamann Volcano SLR

Hello everybody... Recently get back to build some stock model cars and would like to share some with you.

The kit I actually using is not the SLR 722 Edition. I had used the normal McLaren SLR. As the SLR722 Edition had build into Brabus SLR... lol

The transkit used was from Hobby Design, a second conversion kit I bought after the disaster of SLR722GT...

I not going to show you the basic build here, as there are lots of SLR WIP here in AF, roughly you know the basic coloring and building should look like what. So I showed you the complete one.

Interior is according to the picture I found on Google. Then the best part that I enjoy most...to carbon fiber up the SLR.

Okay, I did spary the color in red and not white. CF will be on all the black conversion parts. Not really that hard to lay them on, only need to do masking template before hand.

And the completed CF SLR parts will look like this...

Then after the polishing, everything looks prefect as what I wanted it to be.

Completed...

Well, in case you got some doubt or question you want to ask, please do so and I try to answer all I could, thanks...

Re: Hamann Volcano SLR

Terrible!

Red and carbon make for a great color combo.

The current one are good, but for those that are early patch...don't bother to waste your money on it.

Early patch will be : SLR722GT, Audi R8GT, FnF: Tokyo drift Veilside 350Z, and those earlier than these. SLR722GT parts are all shrink at least 1-2cm. Heard R8GT body is wrong too (heard, not sure.) Veiliside 350Z...you need to trim the wheel arch, then resin will fit well on body. Basically body need lots of putty/filler.

Later patch like this... Hamann Volcano, Amuse S2k, Hamann California, etc is fine. Only having some part wrap, but is still easy to fix. Fitting is so much better, fit well not 100% prefect, but I would say is around 98-99% fit.

Nice Job on the car and cf, very clean work as always!

Not a big fan of red/black cars, but u made a great execution! =)

Its a shame the bonnet can't close properly, well like all tamiya slr kits.
