Got a seatbelt ticket this morning, will this affect my employment at a dealership?

I posted this in the dealership experiences forum, but not sure how many people visit that section so I figured I post it up here..

I'm just wondering how or if a seatbelt ticket is going to affect my employment at my current dealership (I'm a technician). I'm already employed - they hired me with an excessive exhaust noise violation around 2.5 years ago and a no seatbelt ticket about 2 years ago. The dealerships insurance company pulls a 3 year record when they hire you.

I got a seatbelt violation this morning. In Maine I believe they drop points off after 1 year. Will my dealership still insure me? I feel like I'm overreacting and I'll be fine but I was just wondering if anyone else out there had speeding violations, accidents, etc. during their employment and what their experiences were.

Tom

As far as I'm aware, as long as you have not lost you liscense, you will be ok. At least that's how it works in my area.
