98 Caravan. Shock tower.Wipers.Heater switch

Ok, I had the shock tower fixed by a welding shop 3 days ago. My wife was driving it today and said the battery light came on. I decided to drive it and the battery light never came on, but.....The wiper blades quit working mid stroke (you can still hear the motor running when you turn it on), and I noticed the heater (which you can still change from low to high) is stuck in the defrost postion. Any ideas as to what my have not been hooked up right? I was singing their praises because of how fast they did it and the price (6 hours, $300), but now I am second guessing that.

Ok, got the heater switch working by using a trick I found here. But the wipers are still not working. Can hear the motor, but they are not working. They quit right in the middle of running properly
