1997 Jimmy rear axle interchange
Hi,
I have a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4x4 SLE with 310,000 miles. Rear differential was making noise. I took it apart and found the bearings, races and outer axle bearings and shafts really scored. I have to replace the complete rear axle assembly but unsure of what years and or other models might fit. I'm sure blazer and bravada are the same. It has RPO GU6 (3.42) with rear drums. Any salvage yard has that interchange info.
