A/C bypass pulley won't align
I have an 89 Chevy Astro van, 4.3 ltr., 6 cyl. Recently my a/c pulley froze up and snapped my serpentine belt. I removed the a/c and replaced it with bypass pulley. Unfortunately the bypass pulley doesn't come out far enough and the belt slips off the tensioner. Is there a way to pull the bypass pulley bracket out or maybe shim the bypass pulley? Thanks.
