1999 Dodge Durango has no air/heat coming from vents
I have a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT 5.2L (318) 4x4. My problem is that there is no air or heat coming from any of my vents. It started out where there was no air coming out on the lowest setting. Then a few days later, no air from the next highest setting. It then continued to where absolutely no air coming from any setting. I dont know where to even start looking. I've been told a few different things but I want to narrow this down since I am only able to work on the vehicle outside and I live in Minnesota (where I really need my defrost and heat right now... Lol) Please help this single mom figure this out so I can drive again.
If more info is needed, I am more than willing to provide it. Thank you! |

check you fuses first. Next thing comes to mind is blower motor resistor or blower motor itself.

Re: 1999 Dodge Durango has no air/heat coming from vents
If the motor doesn't come on at all, I would check the Blower Motor Resistor. Mine just went out on my 03, also here in Minnesota
I found this in another thread:"In the 99 and earlier models, it is under the cowel panel near the right windshield wiper pivot point." Sorry don't know exactly where. Hope that gets you close. |

Re: 1999 Dodge Durango has no air/heat coming from vents
I would check the fuses and then see if the blower motor is getting power. There could be a problem with the blower motor speed resistor as previously mentioned but high speed fan by-passes the resistor.
