Saurer 3CT 1D - 1/43 french old bus

Hello,

this may be really unsuall here, but I wanted to show you what a friend asked me to build for him. This is an old bus he used to take place in when he was young in the 50's / 60's.

He asked me to paint it with the special scheme this bus had.
A dual tan and red color with a wawe livery.
there also is a metallic line seperating the colors, it was hand painted with brush on the model.

I made my own templates to paint this scheme and am pretty satsified of the result.


The kit is a 1/43 scale resin kit from an artisanal french brand named "MAP", some parts were PE or metal and I scratched some of the parts too, like white and red disks, side view mirror... and some of the accessories used to decorate the bus.
Bicycles are made from PE under Interdecal brand.
