Cruise control, 3rd break light, horn issue!!
I just got a replacement engine for my 1997 grand prix gtp. Afer getting my car back I noticed my cruise and horn didnt work. After doin a little research in different forums I checked my 3rd brake light and saw that also wasnt functioning property. I know if the 3rd brake isnt working that could be the problem, but I didnt think that would affect the horn. Any suggestions or solutiions tothe problem. All responses are appreciated.
PS I've only had this car for a month, and already needed a new engine so I jsut want to ge everything working ppoperly. |

Re: Cruise control, 3rd break light, horn issue!!
The cruise and brake lights are probably the switch(es) at the brake pedal, not plugged in, or dangling loose.
The horn is a separate issue. Why not ask the engine replacement guys to fix it- especially if they worked prior to them getting it in.

That doesn't look OEM.....aftermarket module?
Agree with brcidd....if it worked before the engine replacement, it's probably something they did.... As for rear brake light, did you check the bulbs? |
