Satin Clear Coat?
Just finished painting with TS-9 British Green, and I'd like to put a satin clear finish on it. Any ideas on what clear would work?
Thanks, Trevor |

Re: Satin Clear Coat?
Tamiya makes a semi gloss clear in a spray can #TS79 plus a matt #TS80
I've been using Alclads' klear Kote range which comes in a variety of sheens. http://alclad2.com/finishes/aqua-klears/ |

The Alclad clear cote semi-matte goes fantastic.

Re: Satin Clear Coat?
I have used alclad on two of my kits and was not happy with the results, so I would say NO. After it dries it remains sticky in spots. I used it over decals, acrilycs and laquer and all have the same outcome. Now I use an acrilyc clear when looking for a mat/flat look
