Exclamation Luke warm heat

Hey there AF...i am having a heat problem...first my temp gauge never goes above 160...second...my return heater hose is not hot...my upper radiator hose is tight when I squeeze it

Ok..i went to put the thermostat in only to notice that there isnt one in...i asked a guy at a shop anout it and he sed it pronably got tooken out to cover up a pressure leak...how tru is this???

Jus to update the thread...i replaced thermostat due to it being stuck open...since I replaced it my temp gauge started working again...i flushed the heater core..now I have ok heat (still not hot tho)...but only when the fan setting is on the first and second setting...even on full blast it feels waaaay cooler....other than that it runs fine

What temperature thermostat did you install? Can usually get the them from 165-195deg ratings.

Not sure what temp it was...i wanna say a 182° or 192° t stat...ill take it out to make wut degree it is...i doubt there is air in the system...i had that truck running for a good 30-45 min to make sure.no.bubbles appeared
