In this, must admit, germans are overall better than italians.

Considering we have the nicest engine sound of the planet, considering when here they make new ferrari models, they have a direct link to govern to make immediately new rules for special omologation for road use (from 360 models)...here the nicest stuff is closed inside private garage just, and I have worked for some of theme.
Formula 1 cars, prototypes. investiments more than car.

I still remember some yrs ago during an historical event in monza in the paddock. they started the 641 formula 1 car engine with nearly 100 kids in front of the gates, and official ferrari assistance team closed the gates if front of all us.
Near to theme a very big historical Dutch team shared with germans, with same level cars. The wanted all kids to get in to make fiesta and look at their beauty. all able to explain kindly to all even with the difficult of the language.
will never forget this. happens ALWAYS here.
Tifosi are really not so wellcome at home.sadly.

not sure why but a 917k makes me go "phwoar" in a way that the 512 or even the swoopy P330 never does.

LOL, they used 512S for "urban" race in Milano city few yrs ago. impressive.. driven by emanuele pirro.
