Tamiya Panel Line Accent

Hi guys....

I was reading a magazine and saw a material related to Tamiya's Panel Line Accent...

Did you guys already see that???

The codes are 87131, 87132 & 87133

It looks like interesting but I didn't find a online store with this product.

Re: Tamiya Panel Line Accent

Aren't they essentially super-thin Tamiya enamel black, brown, and gray?
I guess the dedicated bottles come in handy, and I know exactly what to do with the next empty bottle of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement.

Re: Tamiya Panel Line Accent

It's quite good stuff. I got mine from eBay and used the grey on this 962:

It's very easy to use and has a very slim application brush, similar in width to the Tamiya liquid glue brush.

Re: Tamiya Panel Line Accent

I can see the laziness appeal of this, but I don't see any other advantage over thinning your own paint.

Mix your own paint, it's the same thing. You will also be able to have a color closer to the one you used (black is too dark, grey works great on white, but only white and brown is for military imo)

And if you just want quick work with 3 colors, gundam marker for panel line are even easier, but still not as good as mixing your own color.
