Can't seem to find an answer on this... mid-engine?

Hello AutomotiveForums and thanks for reading. I have a question that I am hoping you Supra gurus can answer. What would it take to have a 2JZ nestled right behind the driver where I feel it belongs (aka rear positioned mid-engine)? I understand that a custom transmission adapter plate would be needed, but what other craziness would need to be worked out with the transmission? I know a guy did a DeLorean a while back, but I can't find anything on how he worked the tranny. I am soon to get a frame built for a car that I plan to be working on for the next 20 years (my stress reliever), and if there is any way to get a 2JZ in the back of it I want to.
