Oil Recommendation

Hello,
We just bought a 2000 Explorer Limited with the 4.0. It has 102K miles on it, and I would love to switch to full synthetic oil. It this OK to do, or would semi-synthetic or high mileage oil be better? Do I still need to use 5W20 (we live in Michigan with fairly cold winters).
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Oil Recommendation

You should have no issues switching to synthetic, unless there are issues about to present themselves anyway. Stick with the recommended viscosity, which you've apparently already identified as 5W20.
