2001 SE. The rear window does not stay in the UP position. I can roll it up but then it slips down 2-3 inches. No. 1 - how to get the inside part of the door off to get to the fix. No.2 how do I fix it. Thanks for any help.

Re: Rear window problem
I found a video for a DIY, see www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFJS6qBaQx8
Also see www.ebay.com for cheap window regulators. |

Re: Rear window problem
Is it possible that the window is loose? The motor works fine, its just the windown can go up or down by moving it with my hand. It does not go up or down with the motor. The youtube video is helpful thx!

Re: Rear window problem
I think @ the end of video, he finds a broken white piece of plastic to the window regulator.
A replacement piece might be able to be found in the Dorman section of your local auto parts store. For the short, you can use two rubber suction cups on the inside of window to hold the window up. |

Re: Rear window problem
You won't know what is wrong, until you remove the door trim, and command the window up/down....sounds like a regulator.
