1993 Convertable Kickdown cable?
I am having some isssues with my 93 Lebaron with the 2.5l non-turbo. the transmission will shift into neutral when accelerator is pressed to the floor and it is related to the kickdown adjustment but when i adjust it i have to compramise between having it shift into neutral or idle really high when in park. How do you properly adjust this to get rid both of these dangerous issues

Re: 1993 Convertable Kickdown cable?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but on these vehicles you adjust the cable so there is little or no slack in them. I don't remember the procedure exactly but if you can find a Haynes or Chilton manual it will tell you how to correctly adjust the tv cable.
