Cool Sl63 amg Aoshima

Hello everyone, well It's been a while since my last post(almost 2 years) due to work and some lack of inspiration too. but here we go once more with this kit that it's excellent. as you can see I've already made a change for the wheels not that the kitīs ones are bad but i think this ones suit better the car's style, well i leave you with this pics as a small progress, the kit has been painted red(fiat, and not clear coated yet) and the interior dark gray, still many things to do ! thanks for watching and any comments are welcome.

Re: Sl63 amg Aoshima

thanks a lot for the comments, as for the wheels are 20's and they are from aoshima, here there's a small update, I've been working on the chassis, heat shields were placed, they were made out of aluminum tape(center) and cigarette foil paper(plated one), this paper has pattern similar to the 1:1 heat shield, also the exhaust system has been painted and got a slight black wash, the emblem was drilled trough as the real one and a piece of mesh was placed from behind to look like the 1:1 well at least that was the idea!lol, well thanks for watching and comments are welcome.

The mesh seems a little big behind the emblem...
I like your work on the exhaust system and heat shield.

Re: Sl63 amg Aoshima

there's another update, this is a dry fit; the engine has got some p.e bits like the badges of the star and the AMG logos, also some hose braces from another spare p.e set, a little black wash was done, I'll intend to replace some hoses and tubes ,once done I'll detail paint some mistakes, well thanks for watching and comments are welcome.

Re: Sl63 amg Aoshima

hello everyone! here I come with a update, a lot or work has been completed, but there's some more to do. I've changed some of the engraved water hoses and plug wires however tolerances regarding space are very tight so I couldn't add more details but I guess the results are ok. the interior has been completed as well as the chassis. well the car is about 95% done so I hope to get it done by the weekend, well I share these pics. and promise to take better ones thanks for watching and your comments are always welcome.
