2012 Impreza Remote Start

Hello. I have a 2012 Subaru Impreza base model. I am looking to install a remote starter. I am looking at the viper 4203V. I like this starter because it is a small remote and just has the start feature. I am a good DIY person. I have never installed a remote starter. How complicated are they on a Subaru impreza? I never had a subaru before so I never worked on one and I dont know how coplicated they are to work on. Will I need to get the bypass interface for the installation? The interface I found is a universal on and you have to put a key inside the interface...
