2004 GMC Envoy XUV tailgate problem.

Okay so I've been reading all over the internet with issues on the Envoy XUV tailgate. I however, can't seem to get an answer for the problem i'm experiencing with my Envoy.

A bit of information on it:
2004 GMC Envoy XUV
106k miles
Tailgate window operates as expected
Roof operates as expected
NO messages on DIC.
I recently replaced the tailgate regulator (because back then my window was not operable). I did however perform the window reset, by pushing the tailgate window up until its closed and holding the button for 2 seconds, the opening the window until its fully opened and holding the button for 2 seconds (this cleared the "See Manual tailgate message on the DIC).

My problem is that when I try to open the tailgate by pressing on the soft touch buttons on the center (outside) i can hear a small click but the door doesn't open. The same behavior is seen when I push the yellow tailgate button (in the inside of the vehicle). The click I hear sounds like a relay. I've checked all the fuses I can think of but they all work fine.

Anyone have any suggestions??

So after I had replaced the window regulator I forgot to give the fuses another pass. I found out the latch fuse (15), was blown. once I replaced it the tailgate worked as expected.
