Please help: 06 Durango problem

My brothers 06 Durango took a dump today in the middle of I95. I was not there but the driver said it "kicked back" and stopped running. Got it towed to the house, it had a check engine light and an electronic throttle control light. When I first checked the codes, I got P0129 (barometric pressure) and P0340 (camshaft position sensor).

I disconnected the battery and ran it again and this time I just got the P1029 code. The engine has a tough time turning over, and when it does, the idle is rough, and the throttle has little or no response. The truck will move forward and back, but only at coast speeds. Pedal to the floor and no response.

The engine is the 5.7. Over 100K miles on it.

Any and all replies are appreciated.

Re: Please help: 06 Durango problem

In case anyone was wondering, a new MAP sensor appears to have fixed the problem.
