Burning Oil...

Alright, my newest problem is that i am burning an average of 3 quarts of Oil in 1000 miles of driving. i'm almost 100% sure it's burning cuz there are no oil spots in my drive way or in my parking space at my job and my crankshaft seal is alright so it's not leaking from there, if at all.

i'm afraid maybe my exhaust valves aren't closing properly cuz this only started happening after i got my y pipe and maybe a lack of back pressure is keeping them from closing all the way.
i use mobil one 5w-30 supersyn and have been for the last 65,000 miles and this never happened before. when i open my oil filler cap after driving i notice a little bit of steam coming out.

i really don't wanna have to take off my downpipe so any other suggestions are appreciated.

Check gaskets and y-pipe for leaks.
